Operations-

  • Project lead for document control and tracking
  • Assist with estimating new projects and recruiting new clients. 
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules
  • Generate submittal logs at the onset of new projects
  • Expedite submittals as needed to ensure that construction activities aren’t delayed
  • Assist contacting vendors and subcontractors for project buy-out
  • Obtain scopes of work and quotes from subcontractors
  • Work with project manager and superintendent to ensure all materials are ordered and delivered to sites to maximize work-flow
  • Generating and processing RFI’s
  • Prepare and submit change orders
  • Provide vendors with correct tax paperwork
  • Assist in renewals and contract management, forecasting, budgeting and reporting to controller.
  • Daily schedules and time-sheets
  • Quality control site visits to on-going projects to check on progress or customer meetings as needed
  • Prepare weekly project update reports, track job progress vs. estimated
  • Manage the closeout process, generate punch-lists and closeout documents
  • Assist in managing a staff of 30
  • Account manage sites for snow removal
  • Assist with weekly safety tool box talks and enforce safety protocol
  • Assist with communicating LCS standards and the “LCS way”
  • Develop and manage snow operations training program in the fall
  • Assist and manage landscape maintenance training program in the late winter months
  • Assist and manage landscape construction training program in the late winter months

Seasonal Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare routing, staffing, and materials for snow removal
  • Route staff and equipment for snow removal
  • Provide quality assurance of snow removal process by checking random properties whenever possible and observing work of crews.
  • Maintain appropriate inventories of salt, sand, magnesium for treating properties
  • Provide training in snow removal technique of plows, spreaders, backhoes and walk behinds for unskilled staff
  • Work with and assist Crew Leaders with any routing or scheduling/work sharing issues.

  • Make sure crews have all equipment and supplies needed for daily work including any special order inventory needed for odd work orders to be completed.
